The building is on two floors. The main exhibition area on the ground floor is fully accessible. The upper mezzanine can only be accessed via stairs.
For more information, please visit our access page or contact York Museums Trust on 01904 687687.
There are baby changing facilities in the disabled toilet. Pushchairs can be brought into the main exhibition area.
We welcome all assistance dogs to our sites. We ask that they are appropriately trained, supervised, and kept with you at all times as we do have many objects on open display. Water can be provided on request.
Where possible, assistance dog owners should bring their Assistance Dog UK (ADUK) identification book and animals should wear the appropriate tabard or harness.
If you have any further questions, including requests to bring assistance animals other than dogs to our sites, please contact us ahead of your visit and we will be happy to help.
Please speak to a member of our Welcome Team during your visit; they will let you know which artworks and areas you are able to photograph.
If you have any questions about visiting please contact Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience.
