Here is an opportunity for you to see the different installations that have been created in and inspired by the stunning space of York St Mary's.

Thirty Pieces of Silver

This year's installation is by Cornelia Parker and consists of 30 circular groups of flattened silver objects suspended from the roof with individual pieces of fine wire  View

Five Sisters

Our 2009 installation was inspired by the Five Sisters window in York Minster and created by Emma Biggs and Matthew Collings.  View

The Memory of Place

For The Memory of Place, which ran for two seasons in 2007 and 2008, artist Keiko Mukaide created a space in which to reflect on the memory of loved ones.   View

Echo

Echo was created in 2006 by Susie MacMurray, whose previous successes included Flock at Manchester Art Gallery and international shows in France and Italy.   View

Our breathing space installation, in 2005, was created by Caroline Broadhead, contemporary textile artist and Reader in Jewellery and Textiles at Middlesex University.  View
